Tory Long (He/Him/His), BA, Graduate Clinician

Locations: Coon Rapids

Supervised By: Maggie Ives, MSW, LICSW

Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem, Neurodivergence

Client Focus: Individuals, Children, Adolescents, Adults

Treatment Approach: I believe in creating a space where clients can feel safe to be their vulnerable, authentic, raw selves and feel seen and heard without judgement. I believe that this space is created collaboratively between the client and clinician, and is best built through a shared language of mutual trust and respect. I hope to work with each client I meet to craft this space together, so they can eventually shape the therapeutic experience that fits their individual needs.

I have a background working with children and teens with relational disruptions, early childhood trauma, and neurodivergence or developmental differences using a framework of developmental repair and the early-start Denver model. I draw treatment interventions and ideas from a person-centered and strengths-based approach, and a combination of CBT, DBT, Experiential therapy, narrative therapy, and existential therapy.

Availability: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings
