Marissa Marx, MS, LPCC, ACS
Approved supervisor for LPCs and LPCCs. Supervision is offered for $75/hour. The cost may be shared with another person per session.
Marissa specializes in EMDR, clients with trauma and social services involvement, anxiety, depression, problems with coping, autism spectrum, foster care, changes in family structure, Brené Brown™ Informed. Marissa is trained in Anchored Relational Therapy (formerly AIR Network) for treating complex trauma.

“I do not believe in a cookie-cutter therapy technique, but believe that it is my job to figure out what works best for each person. Some techniques that I do use are CBT, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), experiential, TFCBT, solution-focused, play therapy, strengths-based, and genograms (family tree). I’m genuinely interested in getting to know you as a whole person.”

She specializes in Trauma; Anxiety; Grief and Loss; Life transitions; Personal identity work; Self-esteem/self-confidence; and families impacted by addiction.
