Moving Forward, Practically and Honestly
Life can unravel in ways we didn’t plan for—addiction, burnout, grief, emotional abuse, gaslighting, or relationships that slowly erode your sense of self. When that happens, it’s not always about inspiration or big breakthroughs. It’s about steady work, clarity, and rebuilding trust in yourself.
My name is Warren Fritze. I’ve been a therapist for over 25 years, working with adults 18 and older. I help people sort through the aftermath of chemical use, recover from emotionally abusive dynamics, and untangle the confusion that comes with manipulation and gaslighting. I also work with those who feel stuck, burned out, or disconnected from who they used to be.
My style is straightforward and grounded. I won’t put on a performance or offer empty reassurance. I will listen closely, ask direct questions, and help you identify patterns that are keeping you stuck. Together, we focus on practical tools—rebuilding boundaries, strengthening emotional regulation, addressing substance use honestly, and restoring a stable sense of identity and direction.
Recovery—whether from addiction or emotional harm—requires more than insight. It requires structure, accountability, and compassion without avoidance. Therapy with me is collaborative and purposeful. We work toward clarity and measurable change, not just venting.
Outside of session, I read fantasy novels, ride my motorcycle, hike, experiment with chili recipes, and teach journaling. I value curiosity and thoughtful conversation, and I tend to work well with people who appreciate depth without drama.
If you’re considering therapy, you don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to be willing to start. If this approach resonates with you, reach out. We can take the next steps in a steady, clear-headed way.
