Jordan Bell (she/her), BS, Psychotherapist

Location: Andover, New Brighton, and the Anoka County Juvenile Center

Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, LGBTQIA+, Self-Esteem, and Relational Conflict

Client focus: Children Ages 8+, Teens, Adults, and Families

Treatment approach: You are unique, and it is my personal belief that the course of your healing should be tailored to fit. While the core of my approach is based on Person-Centered Theory and the importance of the therapeutic relationship, a variety of disciplines can help to unearth the tools for growth and change that you already hold. These approaches may include looking at dilemmas from a new perspective, providing psychoeducation to better understand automatic thoughts and actions, and examining how family history can play a part in relational dynamics.

Availability:  Wednesdays & Fridays 4:00 - 7:00 (in-person and telehealth)

“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein

The first steps toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but it is not a journey that you must take alone. Reaching your goals will be a collaborative process marked with warmth, empathy, humor, and lightness. In a trustworthy and supportive environment, the possibilities are truly infinite.

About me: Currently, I am under supervision and pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a self-proclaimed goofball and lifelong learner. Typically, you can find me reading a book, getting lost down a rabbit hole of IMDb trivia, or figuring out which room I want to wallpaper next. I love to cook, travel, and meet new people, but time at home with family and friends is my ultimate happy place.
