Hey there 🙂 Thanks for visiting this page to learn more about me. Choosing a therapist can be a difficult and sometimes anxiety-provoking experience. If you feel like I may be a good fit for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email!

I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas in 2021. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings as a therapist including children’s day treatment, outpatient therapy, and adolescent residential treatment for eating disorders. I currently hold a LGSW (Licensed Graduate Social Worker) license and am working towards my LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) license.

I strive to be a warm, validating, compassionate therapist who meets all clients where they are at. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and my goal is to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your emotions and heal. I want all clients to feel comfortable and safe in therapy, and I create this space by listening, providing validation, and getting to know you, your interests, and your life story. Once rapport and trust have been built, I will gently challenge you in ways that feel supportive and helpful towards your progress and goals.

While we will be talking about a lot of difficult or vulnerable topics in therapy, I believe that there is also space for humor, sarcasm, and light-hearted topics. Because human connection is SO important in this work, here are some of my favorite things to help you get to know me better:

  • Spending time with friends and family

  • Reading (especially psychological thrillers)

  • Playing board/card games (wingspan and cribbage have been some recent favorites)

  • Baking (cookies and banana bread!!)

  • Listening to true crime podcasts

  • Swimming

  • Listening to Taylor Swift on repeat

  • Making lists 🙂

  • Jokes/puns/sarcasm

  • Playing badminton

  • Watching Gopher Hockey
