Hello! My name is Raishma, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and received my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Cloud State University. My background has been grounded in DBT, however soon realized that many clients coming into DBT had complex trauma backgrounds. This inspired me to delve deeply into learning about complex trauma and dissociation.

As a biracial (Pakistani-American), queer clinician, I utilize my life experiences to help me understand the unique lived experiences of my clients. I love working with clients who are looking to explore the multiple identities they hold and how these have impacted their life. Growing up in a multigenerational, extended family household, I am no stranger to the unique experiences of living in two cultures while tryinig to understand my own I also utilize a healthy dose of humor in therapy, because let’s be real, it’s needed!

In my personal time, I am typically spending time with my cat, working on a funny cross stitch project, finding locally owned coffee shops to hang out at, and spending time with friends and family. I am also known to deep dive into rabbit holes, often related to astrology, numerology, tarot, philosophy, etc to try to make sense of this amazing, scary, beautiful, and often confusing experience of life.
