Hi! I’m glad you’re here, I’ll tell you a little more about how I show up in the therapy room:

The journey of healing is many things. At times it is difficult, rewarding, exhausting, joyful - the list could go on. It is both deeply personal and community-based, the light gets brighter when we invite others in. While healing can look different for everyone, I believe it is worth the time and effort.

My role on your journey is to join you. It is to empower you, to assist in cultivating self-worth while learning shame resilience. It is to provide an understanding of our brains and bodies, and how they respond to trauma and stress. It is to support you in feeling known, seen, heard, and calm throughout the healing process.

Each time you walk into our space, we’ll be tending to whatever needs show up for you. Sometimes we’re learning together about where your symptoms may have originated from, and how we can help your brain and body to feel safe. Sometimes we’re familiarizing ourselves with emotions and learning coping skills to better respond to them. We may even practice some trauma-informed yoga to calm your brain and body. And sometimes, we’re learning healthy communication and relationship skills by sitting in a room and growing together.

When I’m outside of the therapy room, you can typically find me at a lake, a coffee shop, or finding ways to soak up the sunshine outside. I love reading, spending time with family, and animals.

Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or you would like to work together, I’d be happy to hear from you ☺
